Manages your photos and videos
Gallery is a free utility app developed by Infinity Studio LLC that provides you with a storage solution to conveniently manage your photos and videos. It automatically reflects the media files already stored in your device, so there's no need to transfer or import them.
Note that Gallery needs to be granted permission to read the files in your device to manage them properly. You can enable this access when you first open the app. Once granted, the tool will display the photos and videos the same way that the default gallery in your device does.
Organize and hide your media files
What makes Gallery a convenient app for managing your media files is that it's highly customizable and has a user-friendly design. You can create new folders, choose whether you want a grid or list view of your albums, and even hide your photos and videos in a secret vault. This app also allows you to browse your media files by their geotags and tag them as your favorites.
Another convenient feature of this tool is its duplicate finder. This function scans your device storage to look for multimedia, documents, and other files that might have copies and lets you delete them from the app. It also has a recovery photo feature, although this function does not really retrieve lost or deleted images. Instead, it makes a duplicate of the selected picture and creates a new folder for it.
This tool also has basic photo editing features such as flip, rotate, and zoom along with a few advanced functions such as cube, accordion, and depth page. However, these tools do not work when used. Even if they did, you can only apply one of them at a time. Meanwhile, it does not offer any video editing feature. The best it can do is to play the videos on your device.
OK for basic media management
Gallery is a good app for your media management needs. Its customizable features — folder creation, view options, and secret vault — allow room for personalization. The tool's duplicate finder is also another convenient function as it enables you to clear your device of unwanted media copies. However, this app still has its flaws, especially with the photo editing and recovery features that are proven to be unreliable.
